Well here are some pics I like and thoguht I should share. Needless to say, the whole raiding thing is going just fine. Both Roy and I are progressing nicely. He got his leaf on fridaya nd by now probably has all 4 demons killed. I myself already have and have the bow! screenshot of that soon!…I keep forgetting to do it.

MC “noob” raid

Well I have to say I am excited and hopeful for what is going on with me in WoW lately. I was asked to be the lead for the second hunter group in EC’s second Molten Core raid group. The raid is titled “Noob” Raid as opposed to “One Shot” which is the group I was proudly part of up until I took the leadership of the second group. I am nervous because I like being just a turret that fires arrows in the back, there is less responsibility and stuff involved. Also, I know how good One Shot is. They are almost ready for BWL and will most likely be ready to go there weeks before noob raid is. This isn’t so bad but I was looking forward to seeing BWL. I have yet to see the inside of the place, much less any of the mobs.

I asked Roy to be my Assist for the raid group because I know that if I have to be out he can do the job better than I could and would lead the raid just fine. Also, he and I have the same style of gameplay. But I am asking a lot out of him because he really wanted to see BWL as well and I understand that. So Roy, if you read this bud, no hard feelings either way. Just make sure to link me on any gear you win man!!!! I like to know what you got hooked up with.

The pulls in MC are a little annoying though and I honestly don’t like it. Too much pressure in some spots and it sucks when you almost cause a wipe. Hell, it sucks even more when you DO cause a wipe. Anyway, in other news…..

The wife is now level 36 and well on her way to 40. She is a grinding machine! She has been doing those levels solo and I am amazed at how amazing she is at this game. I took liandraell and took her through the armory in SM and got her Herod’s pauldrons and will take her again to see if she gets the helm of the berserker. Then I will take her through the other portions to see what we can get her there. Well, back to managing and planning for the raid next week.

This quest will be the end of me. I am seriously beginning to doubt myself as a hunter and as a skilled player. I had klinfran down to 300 hp twice and twice he was despawned by horde player. Now I can’t seem to get him back to that place again…meaning almost dead. He pwns me hard. Am I losing my edge or am I just scared? I dunno. Solenar is just…..TOO MUCH!!!! I had hoped Roy could crush him, because Roy is infinitely more skilled as a hunter. But it seems even roy can’t crush him. Man…I am boned.

So what is new?

all i have to say is that we went to onyxia and killed her. As a prize i recieved this. Ancient Black Dragon Sinew.  Back to demon slaying

So…what is new

I don't think I have posted anything significant on my adventures in wow in quite some time. So let me do so now.

I have, since I last posted anything concrete, enjoyed an awesome and fruitful association with EC.  Since joining them I have garnered respect from my class leader due to my dps rankings on every MC run, I have also garnered respect for being prompt, and diligent in my duties. I say all this seriously because if you have never raided MC, well, it takes some coordination and people have to sublimate thier need to lead or be seen and instead be secure in the knowledge they are doing what is best for the whole. 

I have so far gotten the Giantstalker's gloves, Giantstalker's bracers, and the Ancient Petrified Leaf. I also went on a ZG raid or two and got Runed Bloodstained Hauberk.

This has all made me very happy. The results are finally showing and to boot, the people I run with are all fun! These people are all dedicated, skilled, and friendly. Roy has come with us and since he started he actually got an epic item. He also got the gloves i linked earlier. He is now up for the next piece of loot on thursday. Which means, no matter what piece of GS drops, if he wants it, he gets it. Which is awesome. Better than having to earn DKP and go weeks without getting crap. Which he has done. He would have gotten something this week but due to server outage our weekly two night raid was reduced to one night.

Still, one shotting eight of the bosses in molten core is not too bad I think. Especially when you consider that by and large the people who run it are not all purpled out. As a matter of fact, some of us are poorly geared.  I don't know about you, but results matter in my book.

 My wife started playing wow too!! which is a complete wow moment. She is now level 27 almost 28 and a female gnome warrior. She really enjoys the killing mobs and compleing quests. She also loves the whole dress up aspect of the game, which i do too of course. The cool looking gear is always cool. I will post some screens of us soon. Well that is all for now.

Well as promised to roy, I am posting the pencil sketch of the drawing i made of orlaann. Mind you, this is still the pencil so it is not cleaned up. I do all my cleanup and coloring on photoshop. I should have that version done tomorrow.

We have located a facility issue at our World of Warcraft site and we are currently in the process of relocating hardware for the below realms to a different location of the site. We are working with the facility engineers for this hardware movement and are currently estimating these realms to be available at approximately 10:30 PM PDT.
